Gosh time is just flying by and she has had so many big milestones lately! On Saturday, July 31st she rolled over for the first time! Grandma Krebs had her on her belly on her play mat and she rolled over three times in a row and has done it every night since! She also found her toes! She tries really hard to put them in her mouth but her legs arent quite long enough yet! Its so cute!
Here is her 4 month picture with daddy!
At her 4 month doctors appt she weighs 12.1 lbs (20th %), is 24 inches long (48th %) and she has a big head, in the 80th %! She is going to be one smart cookie! The doctor said she looked great!
Another big milestone..we tried rice cereal! It was hilarious! She wasn't sure what to think and made a few funny faces! She seemed to like it after a while but really didn't know what to do with it, she just held it in her mouth for a while and just stared at us! Cant wait to try some veggies and fruits!

Bath Time!
Addy absolutely loves bath time! She is fascinated by the water coming out onto her hands. She holds her little hands out and when the water touches them she just smiles and laughs! Farley of course loves to help out with bath time every evening by getting in the bath tub to drink the water! Addy isn't sure what to think about that and I haven't been quick enough to snap a picture of it yet.

New Toys!!
Addy is starting to hold her head up so well and Lauren (her daycare woman) said that she has started using the Exersaucer at daycare so of course I had to run to Babies R' Us and see this for myself! I assembled the whole thing by myself and she loves it! From the looks of it Farley has a new toy too!

4th of July Weekend
Addy's first 4th of July! This is one of my favorite holidays growing up! Typically we spent almost every 4th of vacation so that always made this holiday so much more fun but this year we decided to have our own fun at home by buying a boat! One of Mat's friends was really trying to get rid of it so we decided to buy it! We took it out over the weekend and have taken it out almost every weekend since. Best of all, Addy loves it! She loves for her hair to blow in the wind and hardly ever cries when we are on it which makes it worth it!! Mat attended a concert on the actual 4th but it ended up pouring rain anyways so Addy and I just stayed in and watched the rain! The fireworks didnt seem to bother her at all the whole weekend, luckily!
Of course she still had to dress up in her red and blue outfit! :)

'Addie Meets Max'
Some of you have been asking why we chose the name Addyson...there actually is a story behind it! When I was little my dad would always read me my favorite book Addie Meets Max...every single night! My poor dad! I loved the book so much because my dad would do all of the voices in the book, including the dog! After racking our brains for a name for our baby girl I remembered how much that book meant to me and how much I loved that time with my dad so that is how we decided on Addyson and we call her Addy!

3 Months Old Already!
Cant believe that she is 3 months old already! She is getting so big! Its such a fun time, she is smiling like crazy and even laughing once in a while! She started reaching for a few things just the past couple of days. Time really does fly by and we are enjoying every second with her! We started new formula, yes again, and it seems to be doing the trick for her horrible colic! Hopefully soon we will start some cereal and can finally say good riddens to colic! At her checkup last time she was 10 lbs and 22 inches long so I bet by now she is about 12 pounds already! She is starting to get rolls on her legs, its adorable! Here are some cute recent pics and her 3 month old pictures!

Fathers Day
For Fathers Day we decided to venture out to the new Spring Hill Aquatic Center that just opened! Its a beautiful pool with a lazy river that is really relaxing! Addy didnt really think much about the pool, I think she just thought it was bath time! She sure did look cute in her bikini though!
I attempted to make Mat a stepping stone with plaster for Fathers Day but failed! It was a goopy disaster so three tries later I finally got it done...or so I thought! As soon as it dried I painted it, put her foot prints on it and then the whole thing just cracked and fell apart. At least we tried and its the thought that counts! Addy also made him a card! To explain the card a little...Mat bought a boat that weekend so that is why there is a boat on the front of his card...at least that is want its suppose to be! :)

Royals Game
Addy experienced her first Royals Game and seemed to like it. She slept through most of it so she must take after her parents opinion of baseball...b-o-r-i-n-g! It was a fun time since the stadium is so incredible now and she got a polar bear and a certificate with her name on it for her first time there!

First Shots
Poor baby is really all I can say! It was the saddest and most emotional day for me, my mom and Addy! I told Addy and Mat that I cant go and do it again, he is going to have to take her next time!
A busy busy May and so many firsts!
Just like April, May just flew by! It was such an exciting month since Addy is changing more and more each day!
First off in May we celebrated Mothers Day by going to Nick and Jake's and eating dinner with my parents and sister and were suppose to go and walk at the Arboretum but the weather didnt cooperate. My mom gave me a beautiful necklace with Addyson's name engraved on it with her birth stone and she gave me a new jewelry box with my initials engraved on it! Mat got me a massage a rose from Addy and a wonderful card. I had such a great first Mothers Day and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful and healthy daughter and such a hard working and loving husband.

Addy at Nick and Jakes being a princess one minute and having enough the next!
It was also my mom's birthday in May and we ventured out to the zoo for the day and went out to eat at BRGR. It was a great day!
This Memorial Day weekend we decided to go and spend time with Mat's family that had not had the chance to meet Addy yet. Mat's aunts and grandpa were able to come over to Eileen's for dinner and to meet Addy. It was a fun weekend with a bon fire, smores, dinner with some great friends and good ole country living :)
Addy is doing so many new things! Almost everytime to you talk to her you get a big smile and sometimes even a little laugh. She is so focused on what is going on around her. She loves her mobile and loves to lay on her changing table and stare at the elephants on the wall. We have such a great time interacting with her now and her personality is really starting to show. The month of May was definatly a test of our patients. We have had a hard time finding the right formula that agrees with her belly but think that we have finally found the cure to her gas problems and belly aches. Thank goodness! She has been so misreable and is now the happiest baby so we have determined that she is lactose intolerant. At least we have found out what is wrong just in time for her to go to daycare!

Where did April Go?
The month of April sure did fly by! We have had lots of fun visitors lately and have gone on lots and lots of walks! My wonderful friend Kathy came to visit from Wichita last weekend with her two adorable kids! We had a lot of fun eating pizza and playing at Monkey Business. We also go to go to Shawnee Mission Park with my friend Sarah and her daughter Katelyn who is 3 1/2 months old. It was such a beautiful day! They whole month has really been beautiful and Addy has been enjoying our daily walks around the subdivision.
Addy is getting so big! At her 4 week old appointment she now weighs 7 lbs, 14 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long! She is growing quickly and definatly doesnt have any problems eating!! We did recently change to soy formula to help with a few tummy issues and it seems to be helping! She is starting to focus on things a lot more and really listens when you talk to her. She also loves music! Anytime you have the radio on in the car or at home she just listens for quite a while! She has also recently found her tongue. She is always sticking it out now and copies you when you do it to her. I havent been able to capture a picture yet but will keep trying, its adorable! She also now has a voice! Her crying has become shrill, but she also is trying her hardest to talk! She is cooing and when she hears herself she looks so surprised that she made that noise. She is so much fun!

Sunday we headed over to my parents house for lunch and most of my aunts and uncles came over to meet Addyson for the first time, including Great Grandma MoMo! Addyson wore an adorable new purple dress and cardigan from Kendra and her mom Pat, she was so cute! Of course after getting it dirty within an hour we changed into Easter outfit #2 from my friend Justin at work! It was so cute too!
