6 Months Old....Already?

Its hard to believe that Addy is 6 months old already! Time is flying by! We are having so much fun watching her learn more and more things each day! She is so keen and aware of everything that is going on around her all of the time!  She is going to be one smart cookie!

Of course Mommy had to get her a present!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Addy, we love you to pieces!

I can sit!!!

Addy can officially sit all by herself!  She mastered it in about 3 days! She never wants to lay down now and keeps trying to stand when you try and sit her down!  We just bought baby gates to prepare for crawling!  She will be on the move soon!

Happy Grandparents Day!

It was my parents first Grandparents Day so we celebrated all day long and they had some good ole' Addy time!  I got my mom a necklace that says "Grandma's Princess, Addy" on it and my dad got a sign for his garage!  

It was a fun day and a day that I have wanted to celebrate for a long time!

Peas, Carrots and more!

Addy has a facination and obsession with food...dont know where she got that from?  MAT?  Right now her all time favorite are sweet potatoes and pears!  Mmmmm good!  She even says "mmmmm" when she takes a bite, its so cute!  Here are some yummy pictures and a funny video of her eating carrots!

Wichita Visit and the Roots Festival

We ventured down to Wichita for the second time since Addy has been born. It was Mat's grandpa's 96th Birthday and I visited  my friend Kathy and her daughter Emily for the day. We had a great time!!

The next weekend we went to Paola for the Roots Festival and enjoyed the bands, shopping for hair bows and of course funnel cakes! Addy did great and really liked the music! 

Rolling Over, Cereal and New Friends

What an eventful month we have had!  Addy starting rolling over from her belly to her back!  Although when she does it she expects some clapping! Its hilarious and she is so proud of herself!

Eating oatmeal has been a success, she loves it so much that her bottle is always uninteresting!

Addy also has a new friend Sofie, her giraffe, since she is teething Sofie's face has become her new chew toy. Since its rubber it makes an awful sound when she chews on it but hey, whatever works!

Dino's!

Eileen and Hunter came in town for the weekend and we decided to go to the Dinosaur's Unearthed exhibit at Union Station!  Hunter and Addy both loved it!  When the dino's would roar I thought Addy might get scared but she didn't mind at all! We had a great time!
